New Moon in Libra- The Pendulum Swings
Well rogues' gallery... here we are back again. It's been some time, hasn't it? When I last left you, the sword of Damocles had been hanging over our heads. Not much has changed since then, even though it feels like everything has. Now, the sword hangs not over our heads, but over those we care for. Those in our lives who we must protect, those whose future we work to secure. A brighter day, a new dawn- it is all around the corner. However, first we must make one more trip into the darkness.
And so we go.
The Sun, Moon and Jupiter- This New Moon will require you to make a choice. It will ask you, once and for all, if you truly want what it offers. This choice is not a binary yes or no, pass/fail situation, no that would be far too easy. No, this lunation is a choice of alignment. It calls on you to choose yourself, what you want out of this life, and what you want it to be going forward. This lunation is a gateway, but you must make sure you go through the right door to reach your promised land. Right now you have the chance to remake your life and have it look very different in 6 months than it is now. The choices must come from within you, and you must stop being the sniveling victim, constantly bereft of choice and power over your life. No more. This Lunation reminds you that it's YOUR life to live, that the power to change it has always been in your hands. With that is what you have been avoiding, however- Accountability. Your choices, your life, YOUR future. It's all on you, and no one can make it happen for you. Others can help, to be sure, and you would be well suited to accept the help offered- but where you end up is on your own head this time. There will be no running from the outcome of the choices you make and the future you choose to manifest- It will be evident to all once all is said and done.

Mercury and Saturn- Now I talked a lot about choices there and personal accountability, but WHAT will the choices actually be? Of course this will vary for everyone, but in general you should expect a situation where you will be faced with the option to act, in a way that offers greater growth, or to spin your wheels in a way that looks like a lot of effort but accomplishes nothing in the end. You will be faced with action vs distraction. You will have the option to do either. Game out your choices- Look ahead; How does what you choose now look in 3 months, 6 months, a year? Where it leads you, is that where you want to be? Moreover, think back to 6 months ago- what is possible, or even essential now that was unthinkable back then? What new options do you have? Where can you choose something different for yourself?

Venus and Mars- Whatever you choose on a mental level, the ruler of this lunation is of course the lovely Venus, and in her aspect to Mars right now, they are pushing you to see your life in a new way. You are being called to face the darker parts of this time with bravery, and reassess what you had formerly taken as gospel truth. Right now, you must descend within yourself once more. The values and formerly held truths are being revealed once and for all, what truly matters to you. You are able to free yourself from the emotional ties and boundaries you once felt trapped by. This is your moment to realize your life the way you want it, under a new set of values and meaning.

Uranus, Neptune and Pluto- This all comes to a head in a conflict, and it's one that is internal rather than external. I know, it would be easier with something or someone to punch until you feel better, but the conflict here is only with yourself. For some, this is our greatest opponent, and can hold us back or pin us down with the burdens we have carried. This conflict, however, calls for you to end it once and for all- You must choose, this time, to forgive yourself. The burdens, the choices, the effort, the struggle... it leads to this. The world will demand so much from you, and the people you love will betray you, or burden you in other ways. You may not be where you want to be, life may not look like what you want it to- but to get anywhere new you must do what you havent done yet, and that is forgive yourself for letting it be the way it is. You do not have to fight yourself any longer- Let yourself go. Accept, Acknowledge, Forgive, and Try Again. The forces outside us are a mirror to what is inside. You must choose the new path. Forgive yourself.
